In The Garden at Lakeshore Cottage

Things are really blooming around here...
Along the fence line, the purple catmint is blooming.  It is Nepeta, Walker's Low and there is Salvia mixed in with it (it is a deeper purple).  Soon the daisies will be blooming and will peak through the catmint.  And there are a few white oriental lilies that will be blooming as well.  In addition, the Veronica Speedwell is ready to bloom which will add another shade of purple to the mixture.  On the other side of the fence line is a row of double pink knockout roses.  They mix nicely with the purple flowers.
The peonies are also in bloom..my favorite are the white...they were a surprise.  They were supposed to be all pink.  I guess sometimes accidents in the garden bring the biggest rewards.
In the pots by the front door, I have a couple of boxwoods planted.  They really do well in pots.  Mixed below the boxwoods are sweet potato vine, lime supertunias (my new favorite) and yellow and white striped minis.
What is growing in your garden?
I sure hope you enjoyed the tour.

XO, Kristine

Just beautiful. This is my most favorite time of the year in the garden. Hopefully the summer won't be si brutally hot and the color will continue.
